I bought a planter with a beta fish bowl in the base. It has a nice water lily in the planter but I have not added the beta who I have called Leroy. There was no real instruction with it. If anyone has the same planter could you email me.

I have a beta fish he is about 2 years old or so…i keep his water changed regularly and he lives alone in a 1 gallon tank with a filter.. but today when i went to feed him one of his eyes was swollen! now i have heard of something called pop eye but not sure what it is etc. i want him to live!!! can anyone give me advice who has experienced this or knows about it..tell me how to fix him please!!! thank you soooooo much for your time.
